What You'll Catch

Black Lake is abundant with largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and a wide variety of pan fish. Even the walleye have made an aggressive comeback.

Largemouth Bass

Aggressive fighters. Abundant throughout the lake.

Crappie (Calico Bass)

Black Lake is one of the most productive bass fisheries in the Northeast, and our fish-cleaning building is rated among the finest around. Rent a boat, grab bait and ice at the office, and you'll be on the water by sunrise.

Dock Rentals (Your Own Boat)

20-foot steel frame docks with treated lumber. Rated at the top by serious boaters. Electricity available. Maximum boat length 20 feet.

Good to Know

A few things to keep everyone safe on the water.

Operators must be 18+ or hold a NYS boater safety certificate
All passengers must wear PFDs; we provide them
Boats must be returned before dark
No reckless operation or excessive speed near shore
Boats are first-come; reserve yours when you book your stay
